miffy and the symphony

The dilemma I faced last Saturday morning was: (a) spend all morning riding with the bicycle club and get a good workout, or (b) take the Precious with me bicycling around the neighborhood for about 2 hours (including passing by the library and 'recovery' time at the local cafe) -- not a super workout, but more time with the family. Having been caught in my bike gear by the Precious, I ended up taking the latter option.

M and I were supposed to have attended our neighborhood Christmas party last Friday - on of our more formal affairs of the year. However, we couldn't find anyone to watch the kids.

The rest of the weekend spent on preparing for the holidays. But I was able to sneak in a trip with the Precious to downtown Sacramento today. The pictures follow. Have a good week!

Michael Neumann conducting the Sacramento Youth Symphony. They were actually quite good. Performance included selections from the Nutcracker Ballet, a Christmas medley for orchestra, Triumphal March from Aida, William Tell Overture (the only one the Precious immediately recognized), etc.

bike ride 2005-1203

I was late trying to join the bicycle club today, so I decided to go off and ride to Beale's Point.
