Lacking something more interesting to do on a holiday Monday, I decided to ask my Dad to help me prune the trees. I had purchased a special saw (attached on the end of that red pole) for the occasion.


I'm glad I had some extra hard hats at home. As it turned out, it was actually kind of fun. But judging by the large quantity of branches we cut, and by how bald the tree now looks (in the background in this photo), I think we may have had too much fun.

I now wonder about one of the poor tree's chances for survival.
