James and Family

I've had this film stuck in my old Ricoh SLR since the baby was born over a year ago. I finally used up the 24 shots last Sunday and dropped it off the developers yesterday. Both these pictures, taken over a year apart, were from the same roll of film.

Several things come to mind as I look as these images:

• our youngest baby becomes less and less a baby. a cliche, I know, but I can't help feeling that way.

• film shooting is expensive -- ~$12 for 24 shots, half of which I don't like anyway. nope, I don't think I can go back.
